Hubert in bunny isolation

Hubert’s chemotherapy drug, Lomustine, arrived at the vet today. We gave it to him this evening, it was slightly nerve wracking. It was a small capsule, but fairly big to a rabbit. He spit it out the first time, not before he had managed to chew it slightly. I was slightly more persistent on the second try, and we managed to get it down. He’s feeling well this evening, I’ll be keeping a close eye on him though. He needs to be separated from his friends for 72hrs, which honestly breaks my heart as he’s such a snuggle bug. QT actually came and snuggled beside him for a bit. I’m sleeping in with them tonight so I can keep an eye on him, also Lafawnda as she’s been evicted from her usual overnight spot.

We measured his tumour today and it’s 3.5cm x 3.5cm and around 0.5cm thick. A few weeks ago it was only 1cm across. We measured to keep track of any changes. He also has some lymph node involvement now.
