Probably the most pollarded pathway...
In the morning I used my regained mobility to trot to the surgery to pick up a letter from the GP. This is something that explains there is nothing in my medical history that should bar me from working in Mozambique. Another piece in the visa puzzle, done. As soon as there is a green light and a key document received from Maputo, I will be presenting a host of things in London to try and acquire the actual visa stamp in my passport.
I like the gated pathway that leads into Mill Road Cemetery. In winter it’s very...leafless and barren. As I walked I spotted a woman sitting on a bench flicking through a newspaper with a can of Carlsberg. It was morning but she had the right idea.
