A productive morning

I had a fruit and veg delivery due at lunchtime so spent the morning sewing, and I was in my element.

I am trying to reduce the amount of craft things I have to a point when I know exactly what I have and what I will make with it.

I know the fabric I used here was bought when we still lived In Twickenham, and we moved here in 2002. Once I started cutting it I saw it had a date of 2001 printed in the selvedge so for the last 20 years I have been deciding what to make with it.  It took me a couple of  hours to make this 36 inch square quilt top. I just hope it doesn’t take me 20 years to quilt it!
