U is for uh-oh!

Sicky bad no well!
Went to the GP on Monday cause I had pains in my ear. He diagnosed a cold sore in the ear (actually possible! Herpes simplex presents itself at the end of nerves - mouth, eyes or ear) so he prescribed me some aciclovir - antiviral tablets - and otomize - steroid spray with an antibiotic - ear spray.
The tablets hadn't really had a massive effect so I called the GP today and was seen by a different doctor who says that the cold sore has cleared up, ear canal is just a bit red but no boils - result! But there was a build up of fluid behind the ear drum. A cheeky wee case of otitis media! Cue some antibiotics and some co-codamol for the pain.
I've been absolutely exhausted this week as tiredness is one of the side effects of aciclovir. I've slept in twice which is so unlike me!
I feel so run down and exhausted but I'm only working tomorrow night and the aciclovir should finish tomorrow if I can stay awake to take my 5th dose tonight!
