Lady In Waiting

About three weeks ago I was trimming leaves from the grapevine to let more sunshine in to ripen the grapes when I accidentally cut off a leaf that held a spider and her egg sac. I put the leaf in a bottle of water and have checked it every day. The little spider (about 5mm long) is very patient waiting for her brood to hatch. Now the leaf is changing colour. I hope it holds its shape for as long as it is required.
