Mrs FP’s phone received a text. Your delivery is expected to arrive between 11:55am and 12:55pm.

At 11:55 I commented that they were late. The doorbell went at 11:56. The Cheese had landed.

A bottle of L’Ermitage Muscat

Jars of Poachers Pickle, Quince and Orchard Preserve and a Fig & Red Wine chutney.

Wooleys of Arran Oatcakes and Stag Bakeries Salt and Pepper Water Biscuits from Stornoway.

All with beautifully printed info cards (makers, location, history, tasting notes etc) and a couple of cracking looking recipes.

Lock down has just become a whole lot more bearable.  

The immediate future is looking cheesy.
