Cliff top walk
Managed to get a lot done today. When it's sunny it makes you feel you could do anything!
Went along to see to the ponies and goats but as two folk had been out yesterday, there was nothing left to do, which was a lovely surprise! Instead we rode all three ponies for a while and took them over a few jumps. Great fun as it's been a while since Nimbus and I have jumped. She was in good form. One of the helpers brings her younger brother up and he's been riding Nimbus regularly and she's definitely less stiff as a result. He's just learning, so it's nice gentle exercise for her.
Home and I popped up to see Ruth. She's weak, but cheery and chatty! Jimmy got out to his shed and Ruth told me all about her school days and growing up on the farm eighty years ago. Fascinating anecdotes! I must write them down.
Lottie and I also managed a bright and blowy walk up on the cliffs! The SE wind is bitterly cold still, but it was super and clear. Some fulmars about, perhaps looking for possible nest sites.
Broccoli and blue cheese quiche for dinner. Tasty, even with bought pastry!
