Amaryllis

What a miserable day .... in the middle of the morning there was a brief respite from relentless rain but since lunchtime I’ve watched the raindrops running down the windows and the  branches swaying in the wind.

No chance of an outdoor blip for Flower Friday so here is one of my amaryllis blooms. The plant has become very top heavy and despite staking the stem has developed a significant bend so I cut off one of the flowers and put it in a vase where I can enjoy it.
