Snowdrops

For our afternoon walk today we went on a route that we choose infrequently, going across to the other side of the river and returning across Willow Bridge (the old packhorse route.) It was a good choice as the snowdrops by the trackside and in gardens were competing for attention. There are also the first signs of crocus. 
I spent most of the morning cleaning after which I don't feel that I have achieved anything but the house is cleaner.
