Helpful instructions

This is one of the ‘go to’ millinery reference books. It dates from 1981, and I managed to get it on Abebooks. 
I was really pleased to find it has a chapter on block making, but less pleased it says ‘ carve the block to the desired shape’

In other hat news I have an interview coming up to  see whether I’d work well on a podcast. The series is about people who have moved to a creative career later in live. Makes me feel ancient!
