Skating at Laajalahti

I went skating on sea ice for the first time this winter. It was wonderful. Was thinking I might skate about 10 km but I had such a good time skating that I doubled that. Going to have some sore muscles tomorrow for sure. 

Some 9 years ago while living in Kuopio I had a brief period when I went skating on lake Kallavesi almost every day. Last year there was basically no winter at all in Southern Finland so better enjoy skating and skiing now while it lasts. Sadly the skating track on sea is not too close to where I live so I'm not going there every day. But hopefully every week.
