Black-capped Chickadee

I shot this through the front window this morning when it was 17F.  The sun has melted the rest of the snow off the trees during the day.  I like this shot because, despite the snow, it has a promise of spring in the red ends of the branches. :-)

I am grateful to Anni (BikerBear) for helping me find my family history on Ancestry.com.  It's fascinating and addictive!  I spent way too much time on it today!
