It's 7.30am and yes, she is serving coffee to the overnight queue waiting to buy tickets for the pantomime next December. This year's panto only finished three weeks ago!

OK Blipsters, you deserve a bit of backstory here. The York Pantomime at the Theatre Royal features actor Berwick Kaler, who has been starring every year for about 36 years. None of your so-called "celebrities" and B-list soap stars...

This panto is truly a cult phenomenon in York and people travel from all over to see it. Highly recommended - and that's the Guardian's verdict, not mine! More adults go than children before you sneer ;)

So, what a bliportunity! She was just charming and really brightened my day. Believe it or not, I'd been a bit p***ed off until this moment!
