Rain drops

It’s pleasant walking to the sound of the falling rain, protected by a big umbrella. We have been doing a lot of that of late. Something very odd has happened to our summer this year. We haven’t really had one.
 
I can’t remember a season when we have lived for so long without turning on either heating or cooling. Just living at whatever is the temperature in the house. What an old fashioned notion.
