By Walsh Bay, Sydney
Today I went with the Other M to see a performance by the Sydney Dance Company, the first since the covid restrictions, titled Impermanence. I think they should have called it Synchronicity. It was a troupe of about 16, not all on stage at once, but regardless they moved in perfect harmony. I don't know how they did it. Probably heaps of practice. They were accompanied by the Australian String Quartet whose members composed the music.
Apart from the dancers and the musicians, the stage was enhanced only by minimal, subtle and atmospheric lighting.
The photo was taken from a point across a couple of roads from the theatre.
Stay well all.
