The Pause that Refreshes

Dear Diary,

After the hard work of digging in the snow for seeds (there were plenty in the bowls) Gracie pauses to take a long drink of warm water.  Our snowfall yesterday wasn't too bad.  About 2-3 inches of light fluffy snow fell so I should have no problem getting out this morning to go get my first vaccination.  It will be such a relief to have the first one in my arm.
