World Pangolin Day - throwback blip

Happy World Pangolin Day! I took this photo of a ground pangolin in Niassa in 2016 during a field trip. These incredible creatures are the most trafficked mammals in the world and we need to scale up efforts and spread the word to protect them and the habitats on which they live.

I can talk pangolin for hours, but off to run in support of Charles Emogor who is running 8 hours for 8 pangolin species today! Although I will only attempt a fraction of that :)
