Flat

People often say that it must be so nice to cycle on the Fens as they are so flat. The answer is NO its not. It is too flat and if it's windy it is really hard work. But today the wind was southerly so we took the tandem to Old Hurst. It was really hard cycling into the wind, but at times, especially on the way home we had a lovely tail wind. This was taken on the toad to Holme. That part was epic for all the wrong reasons- head/side wind.

The cafe/shop has expanded so much. Of course we didn't see the crocs. We gad z lively cup if coffee and the stickiest flapjack
