Once known for its glass works, mill, and pottery as well as agriculture. 
More info here if you want to look... Now it's a retail outlet, and the garden centre and café take up most of the site.
A bit too wet and gloomy for a walk, so we had an outing today for some bird food and cards - and just managed a takeaway coffee before they shut!
