Botanics

Booked on Wednesday, which was a good job, because apparently it was fully booked. Mostly with people trying to find open spaces in which to lose their screaming children. 

It was warmish, and dryish, and not actually miserable. So for a day out with a friend I've not seen in weeks it was a lovely couple of hours seeing the trees in bud and the snowdrops and the beginning of spring. 

Here we have the golden monkey, This apparently the golden monkey from His Dark Materials. Not the golden monkey from the rubbish 80's TV show Tales of the Gold Monkey (I'm sure I've got that on DVD somewhere). 

Quilting in the afternoon.
