An Elephant never forgets .

We have a bit of a thing about elephants in our family , started off by my dad who gave each of his grandchildren an elephant as a symbol that he would remember each one of them in his night time prayers .
I had a call with my dad today and read the first of the Screwtape letters . He said he enjoyed it , he was much happier today , thank goodness !
I spent the afternoon making this elephant bag for LBB who will be two in just over a week . We have bought a few bits and pieces which will be wrapped and then placed in this bag . He likes to carry his treasures ( trains and tractors ) around with him from place to place and as his collection is growing I felt a new bag was in order . I have a small bag of preloved trains for him plus a transparent container with a magnifying lid . Anything he puts in will be magnified , I thought he might find it interesting ( or could it be me ?)
Wild , wet , windy weather meant we had a short wet, windy walk .
