It’s all Greek to me

I decided to cook a proper meal from scratch tonight and moussaka was requested. The ancient copy of Delia’s How to Cook was thumbed and this is the result. As a child I remember my mum making moussaka and us thinking it was so exotic! Probably turning our noses up at it, as we did the faggots, the spaghetti bolognaise and anything foreign. I have made it in the past for my sons but got pretty much the same reaction probably :)
This was a triumph.
