Friends of the Lake District are running a virtual Dark Skies Event this week, so tonight Andy and I went to the Lancaster University planetarium to hear a  very enthusiastic young lecturer discuss the planets, constellations and the hugeness of the universe.  Very entertaining, and we appreciated having the stars brought to us as we sat in the warmth and comfort of our own lounge, not having to go outside on this atrociously wet night.
