Highs and Lows

High.    I have treated myself to an early birthday present,  a rather extensive but very sharp Swiss made pair of secateurs.  They have made the orchard pruning so much easier this time.
The lows I keep getting mail invitations to view retirement homes winds me up something rotten, I know it shouldn't but I don't need a retirement home I have my own and I am not going anywhere soon!
Windy but mild again, season on its head.
