Butter dish

More than a little miffed that we haven't been able to buy our preferred mandolin strings as, thanks to Brexit, the French supplier is no longer shipping to the UK. I spent an awful lot of some time this morning on t'internet searching for another source of said strings. Eventually found a retailer selling guitar strings of the same make, and had a chat with the very helpful retailer, who will contact his suppliers to see whether they can order some for us. Looking hopeful, so fingers crossed, though the price is likely to be somewhat higher than it was...

Apart from that, some admin. and some chores before exercising on the bike - so damp and gloomy outside that I  wasn't even tempted to walk down to the river. So it's another indoor Blip - our butter dish. We've had many over the years, and sooner or later always manage to break the lid, but I'm hoping this one will last longer than most as I'm rather fond of it, and love the colours of the glaze.
