Mountain of moss.....

....... well, not really, but there are lots of lovely mossy cushions covering boulders and fallen branches as well as creeping up the base of tree trunks in this woodland area near our house. I nipped out for a walk in the morning before the rain started and I timed it well as it was just starting as I arrived back in the garden.

I spent the wet and windy afternoon sorting more slides.
