Project 365 day 51: Sun and Shadows

Getting up to a bright morning immediately lifted my spirits. My daughter and I baked pain au chocolat for a breakfast treat - just the Jus Rol ones that unwind from a tube, but they are nice fresh from the oven. I dried laundry outside for the first time since autumn, watched a bee in the lone iris, and laid out the rest of the seed potatoes to chit. The strong, gusty wind put me off going for a walk, but I enjoyed a short while playing with the camera in the garden, with low sun creating strong, dappled shadows. I'm also noticing how much the length of the days is increasing - the equinox is only a month away.
