A very quick outing today as not only was it below freezing but winds were howling.

The situation in Texas is crazy: after the state allowed complete deregulation of its energy sector so that a few business people could line their pockets, the governor is now complaining that federal help is hardly enough. Meanwhile, one the state’s senators escaped the hardship by flying to Mexico for a vacation. How can these people look at themselves in a mirror — or expect to be taken seriously?
