At the front of the line

Sue and I hadn't seen each other since the 7th because of the weather, so we were bursting with stories to tell each other when we met again yesterday. So much happens in two weeks.

We set the alarm clock so we could wake early and line up to get the emissions test for the new car, a step toward finishing the purchase and registration process. We were third in line, and the parade of cars behind us stretched out to the street and down the block, as you can see from this photo of the view in one of the rear view mirrors. There are still heaps of snow here and there, but there were patches of blue sky.

We were both on a Zoom with Portland Buddhist Peace Fellowship this afternoon, and now we have a Twitter account: @BuddhistBloc It will take us some time to get up to speed with Tweeting, but we're trying to move into the 21st century.
