Cute little bug

MrB got up first this morning and took Abe for a walk before the heat of the day set in. 

Then he and I spent the rest of the day gardening. We chopped down a few trees that were either dead or in the way (we're putting in a new gate for backyard access, and there were two trees that had sprung up in the wrong place). We're both aching and tired, but the garden is looking pretty tidy (or empty, if you talk to Little Miss!) A job well done. I spotted this little fly on one of the trees before we cut it down.

Little Miss had basketball (they lost, but it was a good game apparently), while I cooked dinner and tidied up. I had a nice walk with SR and got home just before dark.

We lost power in the evening for a few hours so we decided to hit the hay.
