Hungry horse

The last couple of days this horse has been enjoying a fresh mound of hay, right beside the footpath stile. He doesn’t blink as you sidle past to get over the stile. A windy but mild sunny day for a long walk with a friend. So weird while further west reports of a month’s rain in a day bringing yet more floods.
