Contrast

While it feels like spring, one look at the frozen pool and the huge block of ice in the cellar below the horse stables and one is reminded we have a way to go.

A week or so ago Angie had seen the horse stable cellar was again flooded but the surface covered in thick ice. The pump hose had been in place since the last pump out operation just before the big freeze and so took the chance the water at the lower level was fluid. She was right and as one can see, with the water pumped out the ice collapsed on the stairs leading down. Been a few years since we had so much ice.

A nothing day and as Angie did both walks today, I didn't get out to photograph anything better!
