Sloe Gin decanted and Slider Preparation
Sloe Gin decanted and Slider Preparation.
I was in the garage the other day and noticed the Sloe Gin it the Kilner Jars and thought now might be the right time to take the liquor off the berries. Talking with daughter Nicki she had just taken her gin off the berries too. She also mentioned that she had made 'Slider' which is slow gin and cider. You put the cider onto the fruit and let it sit there for about two weeks. The recipe calls for still cider and we thought we had bought still cider but I am not so sure. The local Spar had 92 different ciders and this one looked the closes to being still. 92 may be a bit of an exaggeration :). I suppose I really needed a Craft Cider. Anyway we are giving it a go with the hope it does not explode.
