Mouth of the Dichty

A bright day, cooler in headwind

I watched the Tennis Men’s Final thinking it might be time for the ‘next generation’ of young players to break through against the ‘old’ guard but it wasn’t to be.

We went for a 3 mile walk along the Coastal Path from Broughty to Monifieth. The mouth of the Dichty comes out into the Firth of Tay, and is crossed by a narrow bridge. Everyone is very polite, and a little uncertainty is finally ended when someone decides to walk on to the bridge. A peak time Traffic Light System would be useful. The path was very busy as everyone took advantage of the lovely day. We will do our online church service before dinner, one of the few advantages of Lockdown.
