Aconites

It has been mild with little wind today and dry until mid-afternoon when the rain started and brought me in from the garden. The guys who constructed the new fence and green house base have left a mess all over the garden which is very disheartening to have to sort out. Progress is being made and with a few more dry days hopefully it will begin to look different. The ground is still very wet and I am trying to keep off the soil as much as possible.
A nice walk this morning taking advantage of the drop in the wind to walk up the hill and along an exposed lane.
I am not sure what PM Johnson will announce tomorrow with regard to Covid restrictions and his 'roadmap' for coming out of lockdown. The press speculations and statements from ministers seem as confused as ever with caution about a slow easing of restrictions accompanied with identifying lots of positives, especially about the number of people vaccinated. At least public opinion indicates that the majority of the population recognised that a cautious approach is the best way forward to prevent another return to full lockdown.
