Signs of Spring

Beautiful day, & these early willow catkins in the corner of the garden were looking fantastic against the sky. The tree is probably around 5 to 6 metres high, with multiple stems as it's split in the wind in the past & had to be cut back. There was a slight breeze but I think I managed to capture them reasonably sharply. I did try to get some of the queen bumblebees which were busily working the catkins - difficult at that height - a crop from one of the slightly more successful ones is in the extras.
