Dancing duck

Not a great day for a walk in the park. No bright sunshine, blue skies, or warm breezes stirring the tree branches, nothing but chilling temperatures, a few random snowflakes, gunmetal grey skies, and dull light. So definitely not ideal conditions for photowalking, but I was spoiled for blip choices. There was my favorite red-bellied woodpecker; a nuthatch eating out of the hand of a woman walking her dog; a chipper little sparrow that wanted to pose; and a dancing duck. It was a tough decision, but here is Momma Mallard, sitting on top of her nest, getting warmed up for her dance routine. Click here to see the dance.
