The days are getting longer

It was a lovely mild day and our local paths were jam-packed with walkers and cyclists so we delayed our walk until later. It was light until surprisingly late and I took this photo just before 6 p.m. The birds were singing enthusiastically, but I don't think its quite spring yet.
