Fairmilehead Park

On Monday's blip, I omitted that I went for a post work bike ride outside, the first of 2021. The Roslin to Shawfair cycle path had quite a bit of ice on it, but I was on the winter bike with the winter tyres. It has been another mild night, and there is even less ice remaining today. The constant stream of melt water has stopped. As can see on the blip, there isn't much visible ice in the park.

After work, I opt for a normal bike as ice should have melted on the cycle path. It is breezy, so the ride isn't as fast as Monday's. There is still some ice on the cycle path, but it is just about passable with care.
