One step forward, two back

Lovely walk today with Philippa and Rosie. Hearing about P's work made me feel better about my job, which is only a bit stressful at times.

Then home to do a bit of kitchen work.

Followed by a small disaster, which put things back a few paces. And a broken tool, which puts another part of the job in doubt. Am at the end of my tether with it all.
Abandoned the idea of cooking, got chips for tea and watched potter off on the telly.
