bubble, bubble, toil, and trouble
We have had a dishwasher only seldomly in our marriage. Actually, that's untrue. We've always had a dishwasher, it's just been of the human variety rather than electric. Hm, still untrue. Oasis tells me that I am, in fact, electric:
She's electric
She's in a family full of eccentrics
She done things I never expected
And I need more time
Thanks, fellas, for that lovely accompaniment.
On this day, I came home on lunch to pull a salad from the fridge (pear and gorgonzola, my latest fave) and snack on it while rushing through a sink full of dirty dishes. Complicated, as I wear gloves to protect the hands, so it goes like this: bite of salad, slide on glove, wash and rinse three to four items while chewing, slide off glove, bite of salad, wash and rinse, etc. The glove must come off because I can never seem to rinse all of the bubbles from it, and who wants bubbles in their salad? Not I!
