The Chill Is Gone!

Our week-long battle with snow and ice here in Central Texas is finally over!  Today's temps got up to 70 degrees.  There is still work to be done to deal with the damage done by the 5 snow and ice storms that came through here, but we were able to gather in our church building to lift praises to God in traditional and contemporary music services and hear David Smith speak more from 1 Corinthians 13 about several things that love is not.   Love is not selfish,not easily provoked to anger, does not keep a record of wrongs, finds no joy in sin, but rejoices in the truth.  He will finish with the chapter next week  It was such a joy to sing in the choir accompanied by orchestra.  Sorry I did not get a decent picture of the choir, but we had a good group.  I am looking forward to the blessings of the coming week, aren't you?
