I spotted boxes of Black Doris plums at my local vege shop. Decidedly timely, as I'd recently been saying that I needed to do a new batch of plum sauce this year and Black Doris make the best sauce!

Actually Black Doris also make the best jam, and the best eating. Just as well I bought plenty of them!
