I had to look it up too. Evalyn is apparently the English version of Evelyn which in turn comes from the French Aveline. I guess Evi or Evie will be used.

Son J & his partner have had a baby, Mum & daughter doing well. Father sounded stressed!.Who knows when and if we will meet?!
