I remember my sister writing this on what was her dictionary in the early nineties when it was one of her favourite words (probably because she's heard Adam Ant say it or something), along with PARADOXICAL on the bottom. I had a slightly more compact one for carrying around so this one probably lurked on my bookshelf at home when it was re-donated (having originally been bequeathed by our granny) until I picked it up with remaining otherbooks or until it was forcibly brought up here by visiting parents in anticipation of their house-move.
