The swan and the coot

Today I did a slightly different walk past a pond which is on a smallholding half a mile away.  The pond can be seen from the footpath by the road but you can't get very close, so this is cropped quite a lot.  I saw two buzzards flying above the pond but they were too high to get a good shot. This black swan has been there for several years and always looks rather grand!
