Puzzled

Today we had a very difficult talk about the care for our son. There is a budget which provides paying caregivers, and every now and then we have a talk about if this budget is still fitting the situation. Most times this talks are about saving money instead of looking for the best way of taking care for him, and we have to fight for every minute of care. But not today. Today was all about how we can keep taking care for him, and for the first time we had a feeling they listened... The hard part is telling the stuff he can’t do anymore without a helping hand, and admitting he is getting worse and more depending. We told them many times, but today they heard us! And we still can’t believe it but the budget is going to be a lot bigger from now on, so we can get more help!! And that means my husband and I can now go out for a dinner or visit every now and then... we love our son, and will do anything for him, but to do that we have to get some air for ourselfs... it’s been years ago we had that.... still can’t believe this news! We are puzzled...
