The end of the beginning
Today I went to the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History. It's Free First Friday (what it says.....the first Friday of each month is free...obviously). And I met a great woman doing three minute coaching sessions in the courtyard.
I spun the wheel of support and it landed on "encouragement", but I decided I didn't need encouraging - I just needed to decide what to do. She had me pick a card which said good stuff about endings being beginnings. Having had a lot of endings before we left, and lots of beginnings since we arrived, it's been pretty binary lately. But I decided that the day-to-day activity stuff - with which I can distract myself pretty comprehensively - is coming to an end. I'm ready for the beginning of the next stage. When I figure out what that is.
I am actively seeking.
This photo really ought to be of part of the museum. I'd like to say I used a fancy lens and waited for the right light and crouched in an awkward pose to take the shot. But it's the local coffee shop. I was sat in a chair with my coffee and I looked up. Snapped with my iPhone. Not even the latest iPhone.
