Skylark

 I heard a couple singing over the last couple of days and noticed on social media others mentioning hearing their song. People seem cheered at hearing it heralding spring. i had a walk along the shores of Evie on Eynhallow Sound. Lots of small waders, purple sandpipers, turnstones, dunlin, ringed plover etc. I was surprised to see a drake goosander- they are uncommon here and I don't recall seeing one on the open sea before (extra)
