Sourdough Dawuffins

I started with a recipe for Sourdough Pruffins, muffins with a prune on the bottom of each, but, never content to follow a recipe, and with few of the ingredients on hand to boot, these have morphed into what I'll call Sourdough Dawuffins. No prunes? Use dates. No honey? Use molasses. No bran cereal? Use some Bob's Red Mill 10-grain cereal. A handful of walnuts sitting over there? Throw them in. They taste grand and I like the dark color.
